World Fashions USA, Inc was founded in 2002 by Jeff Back.
The company was established to support brands and wholesalers with international sourcing and product development of various categories. We have since expanded into a multi-faceted organization working in DTC, wholesale and collaboration, with offices in St Louis, Los Angeles, Bangalore India, and Tirupur India. We also maintain a partnership in China, allowing a broad scope of capabilities.
We additionally operate our own formal Menswear brand, called Red Sky Western Wear. Red Sky sells to all major Western wear retailers, specialty stores, and is now available online for direct-to-consumer selling. The brand started in blazers, vests and trousers, but in January 2027, will be launching outerwear, shirts and denim.
Our wholesale unit works with retailers and brands to design, develop and source all ranges of products in the apparel space in both men’s and women’s. Our work encompasses fashion, workwear, active lifestyle, Western wear and corporate apparel. Our global teams support our clients from design to product development, project management, sourcing, quality control, product testing and logistics delivering to our client’s warehouses.

We have a robust partnership with Sunscope USA, who operates in promotional products and the uniform space with specialty in hard goods and soft goods alike.
The LA office collaborates with clients in industrial design, 3D design, developing molds and prototypes for each clients’ specific brand needs. We work with a large number of Fortune 500s and understand the requirements to assure compliancy at all levels.

What does your design and development process include?
World Fashions USA utilizes a three-step development process to turn an idea into a pattern for the final garment. Our primary engagements with the client initiate a flat design, which is then transformed into a 3D rendering, and finally an adapted pattern utilized by the factory to produce the garment, from prototype sample all the way to bulk production.
Our teams apply best industry fabric options for the needs of the specific garment / accessory intended by our clients. We also help to make informed decisions including technical finishes and treatments for anti-pilling, anti-static, wicking, cooling etc., to ensure practicality that best suits the style.
We create thorough, in-depth technical packs inclusive of all custom trims (such as logos, zippers, aglets, snaps), graded specifications, art files and bills of material, leaving no detail left behind. Each of these elements work together to build the final garment, and the same level of intention is applied to the communication of every step.
We interact with our clients at every stage of sampling - from first fit prototype to salesman samples, all the way to pre-production and bulk production. This is how we maintain and guarantee a consistent fit application and produce a garment the client will be proud of.
Bulk production is closely overseen by our off-shore offices. Our team manages vital processes such as lab testing and final quality inspection in collaboration with highly qualified, globally recognized third parties, such as UL, TUV and ITS.

What technologies do you use for development?
We access proprietary design software for 3D design work that allows us to create fully detailed renderings of various garments and accessories. Our technical packs are created through Techpacker, where we outline all custom trims (such as logos, zippers, aglets, snaps), graded specifications, art files and bills of material. Our team also has a wide range of graphic design capabilities through the use of the Adobe Creative Suite.
